Wisconsin Badger Camp would like to thank the Dubuque Racing Association for a two-way VHF Radio upgrade.
“We would like to thank the Dubuque Racing
Association, Mystique Casino, and their board for their grant,” Bowers said.
“The Dubuque Racing Association is an important granting body that has
supported nonprofit organizations like Badger Camp in Southwest Wisconsin for
many years. We appreciate their confidence in our projects and all of the
improvements they have helped make possible at our camp.”
The addition of two-way VHF Radio upgrade means easier
communication during camp, camp programs and activities. Utilizing the two-way
radio also helps our staff stay connected with a wide range coverage with use
of the radios. Another benefit of
two way radios is that they are very easy to use. Because of this user-friendly
nature, the radios are particularly popular among outdoor settings.
“We appreciate the commitment the Dubuque Racing Association
made to support youth and adults with developmental disabilities,” Wisconsin
Badger Camp Development Director, Kayla Smith said.
