Cruising 4 Campers a Success

Cruising 4 Campers

Saturday, June 1st, marked the 4th annual Cruising 4 Campers fundraiser that gives all proceeds to Wisconsin Badger Camp. Kevin Bailey has organized this event since its existence.  This year’s ride had around 50 drivers and riders, and raised $1,000!
The Cruising 4 Campers route was 160 miles and started in Platteville at Red ‘n Debs.  The stops were: Avoca, Boaz, Rolling Ground, Wauzeka, Patch Grove, and ended at Yoders Bar in Rockville.  There were raffle drawings and each participant was given a playing card at each bar.  The participant who had the winning poker hand at the Yoders Bar stop won $75, but donated $20 back to Wisconsin Badger Camp!
“Thank you to all of the bars who participated in this event: Red ‘n Debs in Platteville,  Lynch’s Bar in Avoca, Lonesome Dove in Boaz, Murphy’s Rolling Ground Bar & Grill in Rolling Ground, Carol’s Bar & Grill in Wauzeka, LuLu’s Bar in Patch Grove, and Yoder’s Rockville Bar in Potosi.  Without you this event would not have been possible.  Thank you to all drivers and riders who came out to participate and support Wisconsin Badger Camp,” Kayla Smith, Communications Director, said.
Wisconsin Badger Camp is an independent nonprofit organization located approximately 10 miles south of Prairie du Chien and serves approximately 900 individuals with developmental disabilities each summer.
