Successful day for WBC at the Platteville Golf & Country Club
On Tuesday, June
24, the Platteville Golf & Country Club hosted the annual Tricor Golf
Outing. A total of 56 players signed up to participate in the event, where over
$1,600 was raised and donated to Wisconsin Badger Camp. This donation will
financially support individuals with developmental disabilities who attend
Wisconsin Badger Camp.
Golfers took off
and played a regular game until they arrived at hole 10, where raffle tickets
were sold and a game called “Beat the President” was played with Tricor
President Dave Fritz. Dave Fritz and his brother Bruce Fritz, CEO of Tricor,
coordinated the event with Wisconsin Badger Camp being their charity of choice.
“This was the first time we coordinated an event like this. It was a great day
that benefited a great organization,” said Dave Fritz.
“A huge thanks to
Dave, Bruce and Tricor for choosing Badger Camp for this fundraiser,” said
Badger Camp Development Director Kayla Leibfried. “It was a really fun event
that was also very effective.”
