Badger Camp Receives Grant from the George
Family Foundation
Wisconsin
Badger Camp is proud to announce that it is the recipient of a $3,400 grant
from the George Family Foundation. This
grant will help support our Crawford County campers through our Campership
Program. Wisconsin Badger Camp’s
Campership Program is an ongoing initiative that was established to help
provide financial assistance to campers who wish to attend.
The George Family Foundation is a private
foundation established in 1996 in Prairie du Chien, Crawford County, Wisconsin
by Roy L. and Geraldine E. George. The
mission of the George Family Foundation is to assist those programs and
individuals who have a vision and a plan to better the long-term quality of
life. The George Family
Foundation limits funding to Prairie du Chien, WI and surrounding communities as
the founders prefer to benefit the area that has been their home throughout
their lives.
“It’s wonderful to see a foundation supporting
its local campers,” Development Director, Kayla Leibfried said. “We greatly
appreciate the George Family Foundation’s support of our mission.”
