Bloomington, Glen Haven and Casseville Knights of Columbus Council #4416 took the time to come to Wisconsin Badger Camp to cut fire wood for the 2014 camping season. It was beautiful but chilly day; however that didn’t stop the volunteers from working hard. Each year the Knights of Columbus Council #4416 come to camp to help cut fire wood for the summer.

“This is one great way that people and organizations can help camp without having to donate money.” Wisconsin Badger Camp, Camp Director Melissa David said. “It is truly amazing to see people taking their weekends to volunteer for camp.” David said. The fire wood is used on a daily basis at camp from making meals to helping keep campers warm at night.

“We are truly grateful for the continuous support of the Knights of Columbus council #4416. They help in any way possible make the camping experience a memorable time for each camper.” Wisconsin Badger Camp Executive Director, Brent Bowers said. “Campers will be able to participate in many fun activities that are not normally available to them, at the same time making memories that last a lifetime,” Bowers said.
